It is the policy of Loras College that all first year students are required to work in the Aramark Food Services division for their first year of employment at the College. Examples of work at the library:
--Assist patrons as they check out and return library materials
--Answer directional questions (locations of library material, offices and personnel)
--Perform shelving duties which involve the use of the Dewey Decimal System
--Aid in the processing of library materials
--Help the library create and manipulate Excel spreadsheets
--Create publicity
--Help plan library events
--Create book displays
